October Fitness Calendar is Ready
Hi Brooks Community,
At the beginning of September the students at Brooks were introduced to the concept of a fitness calendar challenge. The purpose of the fitness calendar challenge is to push students to get extra exercise outside of the school day and to encourage students to include their family to join them in their daily exercise. This is a completely "on your own" activity. It is not a required or graded activity. With September drawing to a close the fitness calendar for October is ready to go. If your child wants to participate in the fitness calendar challenge please print the calendar from your home computer and track the days your child completes by circling the days they exercised. To be recognized as completing the challenge for the month students must complete 4 or more days each week. Students who complete the monthly challenge will be acknowledged at school. I hope the students who participate in the fitness calendar challenge find it a fun way to get some extra exercise. And I hope some or all of you will join the students in the challenge.
